Silva Valley Elementary School’s Fourth Annual “No Child Left Inside Day” a School-wide Outdoor Classroom Experience

Help Needed:  At least 4 to 5 volunteers from each classroom to support this event:

Set up day before event after school:  2:10 – 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 17

Set up tables & pop-up tents:  6:00 – 8:00 a.m. day of event, Friday, May 18

Lead or assist activity station during event:  8:30 – 12:30, Friday, May 18

Assist class as they visit stations during event:  8:30 – 12:30, Friday, May 18

Put away tables, chairs, tents after event:  1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 18

With the event just a week away, please sign up to volunteer as soon as possible so that we can be sure to have everything covered.

Donations of recycled items (plastic caps, old CD’s, & old magnet sheets) can be dropped off at the office now.

Kindergarten Registration

Registration forms for Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grades 1-5 are now being accepted  in the office for the 2012-2013 school year.  Registrations will be taken at school sites based on designated boundaries.  If you are uncertain as to your school of attendance, please visit the District website.   For more information on Kindergarten click on the link below.

If for any reason your child/children will NOT be returning to Silva Valley for the 2012/2013 school year, please notify the office so that we can have an accurate count of students for next year.
